VEVOR publishes the larger usable chamber record
Where VEVOR gives it back is the seal bar, and this is the trade that actually shows up in daily use. Both Avid Armor machines carry 11.5 in of usable seal width; the VEVOR's title claims 10.2 in. A wider bar is not about sealing bigger volumes, it is about pouch width, and a pouch an inch too wide for the bar is simply not sealable no matter how much chamber sits underneath it.

| Axis | USV20 | DZ-260S | Margin | What the margin buys |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chamber width | 12.25 in | 13 in | VEVOR by 0.75 in | Room across the pouch, but the bar caps what you can close |
| Chamber depth | 8.5 in | 10.6 in | VEVOR by 2.1 in | The largest real gap here: 2 in more pouch lies flat |
| Seal bar | 11.5 in | 10.2 in per title | Avid Armor by 1.3 in | The one axis a bigger chamber cannot compensate for |
| Stated maximum pouch | 11 x 10 in | Not published | Avid Armor by default | Only one maker commits to a pouch size in writing |

Fit summary
Use the published chamber dimensions, seal-bar width, pump disclosure, and weight to rule out models that do not fit your package or workflow. Where a manufacturer does not publish a deciding field, obtain that measurement before purchase; Chamber Bench does not estimate it.
Frequently asked questions
What this page covers, and what it does not
This comparison covers three of the eight chamber machines we verified against live Amazon listing data on 2026-08-26: the Avid Armor USV20 and USV32, and the VEVOR DZ-260S. Anova and the LEM MaxVac are deliberately not included, because we have not verified their listings ourselves and will not compare a machine on figures we did not retrieve.
How published evidence is evaluated
Chamber Bench compares manufacturer and listing evidence for the eight machines in this comparison. The current analysis covers usable chamber geometry, seal-bar length, pump type, serviceability, and other published ownership constraints.
Where a manufacturer publishes nothing, we say so rather than filling the gap:
- We record which specifications a manufacturer declines to publish.
- We flag contradictions inside a listing rather than quietly picking one figure.
- We keep partial records distinct from complete published dimensions.
- We do not reproduce retailer ratings or prices as editorial fact.
What we have not done: we have not physically run these machines. No cycle times, seal-strength figures, or noise measurements on this site come from our own bench, and none are presented as if they do. Our test protocol documents the measurements required before any model can carry a tested performance conclusion.
